Just When I thought I knew my Husband....
… So… Luke just revealed to me today that he has never seen The Exorcist! REALLY?! … really?!       I was stunned. Well… I know what we’re dong this Halloween weekend! I mean… come on… that’s a classic horror film! If my mom had a nickel for every time I forced her to rent this movie when I was a kid, she’d be… well… she’d...

A Pagan Presentation... in Utah?! →
Seriously though… this could be good exposure for the pagans… or it could totally backfire…I hope it’s at least a thorough overview and doesn’t spend too much time talking about “Wiccans”. I hate Wiccans.

Life After Me
Let’s take a minute to gain some perspective. In the world of ipads, iphones, and all things “i” related…. it’s easy to forget about the “us” in “sustainability”. I’ve been watching the “Life After People” series and to tell you the truth, it’s got me thinking…. what will I leave behind? A hard drive full of...

Dead Writers Club: Happy Deathday Mr. Barrie! →
On this day in 1937, famed Scottish novelist and playwright, J.M. Barrie died of pneumonia. He was 77 years old. Barrie is, of course, most famous for his play Peter Pan or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up, which was produced in 1904 and the novelized version Peter and Wendy, published in… A HUGE influence on my writing. Raise a glass for Mr. Barrie!

Pierced
Andromeda is officially 10 months old so we took her to get her ears pierced!! We got her birthstone, which is sapphire. I have to admit, I thought she would fuss a lot more than she did! She was a champ… a bit apprehensive at first, but a champ nonetheless. This was a definite right of passage and I’ll confess at getting a little misty eyed after it was done. She is a...
